Located at the foothills of Vietnam’s northern mountain range, resides at an elevation of 1,600 meters above the sea level, Sapa is a mountainous district of Lao Cai province in the northwest of Vietnam, located about 38 km from Lao Cai City (capital city of Lao Cai province) and 376 km from Ha Noi (capital city of Vietnam)

Sapa has many natural sites such as Silver Waterfall, Ham Rong Mountain, Rattan Bridge, Bamboo Forest, Ta Phin Cave and Fansipan mountain. FanSiPan peak (3.143m) is located on the Hoang Lien Son range. This peak is dubbed “the Roof of Indochina”. Fansipan is one the best places for adventure tour, trekking in the northwest of Vietnam.
